yesterday's folly

what to do with yourself when a dear friend has come to visit, you've had many hours (early and late) of laughter and thoughts and sharing of artwork , of story sharing, then - poof! - just like that the time has raced by and already the friend is gone?  in my case, i headed to the studio for the rest of yesterday, and pulled out a dear little doll named charlotte to be the center of my creative attention; and then before i knew it, evening had descended and i had in my hands a doll with a bird and a nest.  (you may find her in my etsy shop, today). (SOLD)  life is good that way, how we can turn our focus towards something that is both a distraction and a satisfaction.  lucky me.

i'll be resuming my world tromping story telling next time, as i make my way from australia to beloved and glorious new zealand. so do stay tuned, there's lots to show and tell.  xo
