Oh, I'm so sorry Nina. I know how much you loved your dad. He will be greatly missed, I'm sure. How incredibly blessed you were to have a father with such a special relationship. Many of us have no clue what that would be like. So, so blessed, you are.
I'm so sorry, Nina. My heart has ached for you so much during this crazy journey. There are no words for this kind of loss. My birthday is on July 19th. Sending you strength and love.
Dearest Nina -who brings us such comfort with your beautiful words and art - may you find your own comfort in the arms of your family and peace in the knowledge that you were loved and loved in return.
My dear Nina daddy will always live, be sure to talk to him everyday....my cousin use to type letters to her departed daddy, I thought she was crazy, but not anymore, we live forever, he is just in another dimension. My daddy once was clinically gone, he told us he was was in the most beautiful place he had ever seen, he said he didn't want to come back, he said from that day, he has never been afraid of dying,,,,,, I wrap you with love and hugs.
Oh Nina, I'm so sorry. I remember when my FiL passed; we knew it was coming but it was still so hard. I hope you and your family can find peace during this difficult time.
Dear Nina, I am so sorry to read about your Daddy's passing. You are in my thoughts! Sending you lots of strength and big warm hugs for this difficult time.
Light and Blessings,
Monika xoxo
so sorry to hear of his passing...from previous posts, it sounds as though he is at peace now....your story with your father's failing health reminds me of my dad's similar decline. Hugs, positive thoughts, and prayers to you! You have a life time of memories to cherish!
Thinking of you and your family during this most difficult time of loss. May you feel your father's loving spirit in your heart center always.
Hugs
Diana
Dearest Nina, May you and your family find some small comfort in all the prayers and love beaming your way. May these tiny rays of warmth hold your spirits with gentle caring as you held your Daddy's spirit all these long weeks.
Now, go celebrate that beautiful boy and remember how strong that creative Bagley DNA lives on in Roy.

Sending love and hugs ... my heart aches for you during this sad time ... like my Dad he will live on in your memories and this will bring you peace love Kate xxx
Dear Nina,
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
I read this in a card ...
"... when you look up at the night sky, don't think of them as stars. Think of them as porch lights, welcoming your loved one safely home. Sending you thoughts of peace during your time of sorrow."
May memories ease your sorrow and may time bring you peace.
Much love, Gail
Thinking of you at this time Nina, at least the wait is over but at this time that is probably not much consolation.
eventually you will smile and remember.
Nina, I'm so sorry for your loss. May you and your family have the strength to get through this difficult time. And may you be comforted by your good memories and the love of family and friends.
I knew from your last post that it wouldn't be long.
This may not help now, Nina, but there is no doubt in my mind that he's at peace, laughing, celebrating, without age or hurt. I am SO not this type of person, but right after my mom passed in January, she visited me in a dream. It was not an ordinary dream. I'm not certain of a lot of things, but I'm certain of that. I wish everyone could experience the amazement and love I saw. He's there Nina, I'm certain. Peace for you and your family.
peace be with you and your family.

"perhaps they are not the stars,
but rather openings in heaven
where the love of our lost ones
pours through and shines down

Dear Nina, I am so sorry for the loss of your Daddy, I know how much pain you are all feeling right now but hold on to each other, the love and the memories will get you through. God Bless
So sorry Nina. I remember what it was like when I travelled from NZ to Australia with a newborn to help care for my mum for the last 2 months of her life. I understand the torn emotions - exhaustion, grief, relief that it is finally all over and their suffering has ended, guilt for feeling that way. Thinking of you at this difficult time and wishing for you the strength, peace, rest and support you need to get through this.
Condolences. It hurts so much when a loved one passes on. We miss them so.
But it is only your dad's shell that is gone--it--his body--only housed his spirit, which is what he is. Not was. Because he--that spirit-- still exists. And lives forever.
And I bet he is in that place we call Heaven with the Great Spirit God---Yahweh.
Rejoice--this life is like a vapor, and one day soon you can see him again, to be reunited forevermore.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I am knowing that you and your family will be crying and laughing and sharing memories of so many things, worn out and numb, and raw and vulnerable, and sweetly held in everyone's thoughts and prayers for you. Peace, sending it..... xx
Dearest Nina... My most sincere condolences and sadness over your loss. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you walk through this dark valley.
I know that your hands sent him forward, they didn't hold him back. And I believe that when he "arrived" he remembered everyone and everything. Peace and Love.

i am sad for you, and with you. you may not know me, but your words gave me strength before, so i have to do my part, and give what i can, which are also words, and only words, but true words they are: i wish you and your family strength in this, your time of grief. i wish your father a peaceful rest, wheresoever he may be now. i wish you deep sleep later, when you need it most. i wish, most of all, that you know you are not alone, despite the world's weight in your heart. peace to you.
dear Nina, prayers of comfort and peace for you and your family. I received a card when my husband died that became my mantra 'sorrow can die but love never does'.....

Julie Whitmore Pottery Julie's pottery is whimsical and dear - a true reflection of her beautiful spirit, and i have amassed quite a little collection of cups, tiny plates, a bowl with a robin holding a forget me not in its mouth. be careful, though - her work is addictive!
Kate Phillips - painting, vessels check out kate's beautiful prints, and her really wonderful little torso vessels. kate is from scotland, living in san francisco, and i am beyond smitten with everything she creates...
Malaprop's Bookstore/Cafe - Asheville my favorite bookstore - an independent one, of course, and in downtown asheville. go inside, have a cup of soy chai latte, and browse amongst the extensive collection of poetry, fiction, and art books for as many hours as you can spare...
