i hope that this will convey what i mean for this piece to say:
- what peace there can be in the quiet of home
- what beauty there is to reflect
- i have been here, i have been there; right now, here is best
- come, quiet
- come, grace
- come, serenity
- i acknowledge all things
- i listen
- i see
- it is as it should be.
what it doesn't tell you is this: soft green is impossible to capture in this late autumn afternoon light. i wanted to speak of the green and the browns that linger through all of autumn and then through stark winter and straight on into another spring. but the green,
something i call "vintage coke bottle" because of the way that it casts softest green flickering light, is there. and if you listen quietly, you'll hear what the little bird has to say....
available now, here. xo

As I read down your list, I realized it was also a list made just for me today. You always inspire me with your written word-it is poetry to me. Thank you.

Ditto what Monica said ... One of the things on my 'list' is to someday order one of your pieces, but 'til then I'll keep treasuring your work here. Thank you so much ...

"Vintage coke bottle" stirs up so much inside me -- what a brilliant description!

Nina, good luck and wishes with your clean up and decluttering. I know this will bring you a great sense of accomplishment once its done. There will be room to work, but more important room to think, and time and space to 'fill the well'. Don't forget to reward yourself as you go along, cups of tea, a hot bath, soothing music, to keep your spirits up!
