it's another rainy morning here on firefly road, and i'm trying to figure out a balance between cleaning/ working/ baking/ wrapping/ errand running, in no particular order. so far i'm coming up awfully short: i'm still in pajamas, the house is a wreck, nothing has been accomplished thus far except one fine cup of cappuccino and and a crinkly photograph or two.
i've decided to have a little sale for my ornamental readers over in my etsy shop; the sale is for 30% off of anything in the shop from now until sunday evening; come monday, the shop will be closed until after the new year. it's time, i think, to focus instead on the things around the house that need to be done before heading back down to my mother's for the christmas holiday. coupon code is NINAKRINGLE; there is a slot in the shopping cart that says something like "apply shop coupon code"; once you apply, the discount will appear. shopping to me is a difficult task, something i really don't like to spend hours doing in a day; doing things online makes life simpler for this gal who lives out in the middle of nowhere and does not have the variety or selection at hand as do those who live in a more urban setting. not to complain, believe me - from the one or two excursions i've had into city life these past few weeks, i do not envy the rush, the frenzy, the stress. instead of the crowds and the cars and the shops, here, with a little help, is what i see outside of my windows today:

Have a merry christmas Nina!

that very same sky is here...and those very same gray clouds. don't fret over what doesn't get done around the house...the only one who will be disappointed is yourself...no one else will know, because that outline of events was in YOUR head only. that's how i keep from stressing these days...no one knew how it was supposed to be but me, so i just don't worry about it. and if it doesn't bother me, why should it bother anyone else? do what you can, what has to be done, and let the other go like fluff in the wind. hugs to you...xo
