it's bitterly cold here today, this blustery day, but the sun is out and the river is beckoning. i've been sitting at the laptop for five straight hours, editing photos, freezing in my one immobile spot. i hear you, river! i'm on my way and keeping my fingers crossed that there will be more treasures waiting for me there. meanwhile - i've been working on some tender affirmation valentine pendants and a new line of prologue chain necklaces - this time around with antique stacked mother of pearl sequins and deep merlot-toned garnets.

the pendants are more petite this time - layers of brass and vintage paper and mica, topped with a bit of vintage brass trim that has been kicking around my studio for over ten years. i love these pieces. go take a look.

have a lovely weekend, and do remember to be tender with yourself. xx
Lovely!!!!

These pendants are lovely, but I am a BIG fan of garnet stones mixed with brass metals. I hope you'll have a few more of these to sell at Artful Journey this month =-)

I miss your tip jar! Just knowing that I could give you something back for your lifting my heart with your beautiful blog made me smile. I love to sometimes just look at your beautiful blog palette when my eyes need a rest. I hope removing the opportunity to give back by removing the tip jar will not mean you need to resort to advertisements to keep your blog going. So many times the advertisements detract from the georgeous designs of very good blogs. But I understand the need if you have to resort to advertising. Mostly I do not want you to stop blogging because of various restraints. Your blog is a joy to me.

I love your hand carved stamps!
I took two classes last year, one on linoleum carving, and one on stamp carving. Enjoyed both. Takes patience!
